Bandits terrorising Kaduna communities are forcing villagers to pay levies earlier than they’re allowed to reap crops from their farms within the state.
The affected farmers from Kidandan and Galadima villages have been being pressured, whereas these from Angular Fala’u and Kerawa villages have been consistently harassed and kidnapped whereas engaged on their farms.
A supply from Kidandan village defined that their folks, principally farmers, pay from N70,000 to N100,000 earlier than they will harvest their farm produce.
He defined that those that refuse to pay are both kidnapped, killed or have their farm produce seized by the bandits.
He listed the names of the bandit warlords terrorising residents within the space to incorporate Buhari; his deputy, Gana’i, whereas the third in command is known as Kwalameri.
He warned, “There might be a scarcity of meals crops within the state if care will not be taken, as a result of many farmers have deserted their farms attributable to banditry within the space.”
