RCMP say a Calgary man is going through 4 terrorism-related expenses following a nationwide investigation.
In a launch issued late Friday afternoon, authorities introduced the RCMP Federal Policing Built-in Nationwide Safety Enforcement Workforce and Calgary Police Service arrested an area resident in relation to terrorism offences.
Zakarya Rida Hussein, 20, appeared in court docket Friday and was charged with two counts of facilitating a terrorist exercise opposite to part 83.19 of the Felony Code.
Police mentioned the person was additionally charged with two counts of collaborating in or contributing to, immediately or not directly, an exercise of a terrorist group opposite to part 83.18(1) of the Felony Code.
Hussein was remanded into custody pending a future court docket look.
