Smashing Pumpkins are conducting open auditions for a brand new guitarist — giving followers an opportunity to hitch the band.
The Smashing Pumpkins introduced on Instagram on Friday, January 5 that they’re looking for an extra guitarist, and purposes are open to anybody.
At present, the band contains Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin, having misplaced their guitarist in October when Jeff Schroeder stepped down after 16 years. Schroeder joined the band via an open audition in 2007.
